Take the in-app tour

The tour designs solar for a demo home with you — from the address to a finished proposal — in about 5 minutes. Start it with Cali-Graf tutorial at the bottom of the left column.

The tour uses a made-up demo home, so you can try every step without a real customer. You press the real buttons; the tour shows where and waits for you.

Start the tour

  1. Press Cali-Graf tutorial

    It’s at the bottom of the left column in Calculations and in the calculator. The first time you sign in, Cali-Graf also offers it once: Take a quick tour?

  2. Press Start the tour

    Cali-Graf creates the demo calculation and opens it. The tour goes through six parts:

    • Find the home — the address and the aerial image;
    • Draw the roof — tracing roof faces in the roof editor;
    • Obstacles — chimneys, vents and skylights;
    • Panels — choosing a panel and filling the roof;
    • Usage and price — bills, equipment and the price;
    • Results and proposal — the savings and the PDF.

  3. Follow the cards

    A card explains each step. When it says Your turn, do what it asks — an orange arrow points to the button to press — and the tour moves on by itself. Cards that only explain have Next and Back.

  4. Finish

    At the end you’ll see You’ve finished the tour. The demo calculation is removed and you’re back in Calculations, ready for a real customer.

Skip, pause or leave

The bar at the bottom of the screen shows which part you’re in.

Closed the tab halfway? Press Cali-Graf tutorial again and pick Continue to return to the same step, or Start over. In the roof editor, the tour button is the question mark in the top bar.

Look up one thing

The tour walks through the whole path once. For a single question, press Help center — it’s right above Cali-Graf tutorial and opens this help in a new tab, with every topic and search. In the roof editor it’s the book icon next to the question mark.
