Cali-Graf Help Open Cali-Graf

Is Cali-Graf free?

Yes. Cali-Graf is free to use — the roof editor, the bill calculation and the proposal PDF — with no trial period and no credit card. Daily fair-use limits keep it that way.

Sign in with Google and everything is open. There’s no paid plan to upgrade to.

What’s included

  • Tracing the roof on Google aerial imagery, with measured pitch, fire setbacks and obstacles.
  • Panels, inverters and batteries from the California Energy Commission lists.
  • Production, bills before and after solar for LADWP and SCE, 25-year savings and payback.
  • The proposal PDF with your business card on it.

Fair-use limits

Every new house costs real money in Google map and roof data, so each account has daily limits on new houses, calculations and PDFs. Normal work stays well within them. Reopening a house you recently opened doesn’t count against the limit.

What you seeWhat to do
Your account reached today's limit of new map and roof lookups — try again in …You’ve opened many new houses today. Houses you already opened keep working; new ones open again after the time shown. If your work regularly needs more, write to calisolargroup@gmail.com.
Too many requests — try again in …You pressed Calculate or Save PDF many times in a short time. Wait the time shown.

Please don’t share one account between people or open extra accounts to get around the limits — each person signs in with their own Google account.

Will it stay free?

Using Cali-Graf costs nothing, and that’s the plan. If optional paid features are ever added, you’ll hear about them in advance, and you won’t be charged without agreeing. The details are in the Terms of Service.
