Can’t draw or close a roof face

To draw, pick Roof (P) and click the corners of one face, then the first corner again. If the face won’t close, the message at the bottom of the map says why — too few corners, a crossing outline, a face that’s too small.

Most drawing problems come from the wrong tool or an outline the editor can’t turn into a roof face. How to trace a face from start to finish: Draw roof faces.

Clicks don’t add corners

Check the tool on the left. Select moves the map and picks faces; corners are added only with Roof — press it or P. On a phone, the tools are in the menu at the top left.
