Payment schedule and financing in the proposal
For cash, the price page shows a deposit at signing and the rest in three stages as the work gets done. For a loan, it shows the lender, the financed amount, the rate, the term and the monthly payment instead.
The price page answers the customer’s first question after “how much” — “and when do I pay?”
Cash: paid in stages
The page says “One price for the complete system, paid in stages as the work gets done.” Payment schedule lists the steps — the standard schedule is:
| Step | Payment |
|---|---|
| Contract Signature | A $1,000 deposit |
| Site inspection | — |
| Permits and Applications | 30% of the rest |
| Installation & Connection | 50% of the rest |
| Final Connection | 20% of the rest |
| Monitoring | — |
Each step shows its dollar amount. “Due upfront” in the payment card is the deposit.
Loan
The page says “No money upfront: one monthly payment covers the system.” The payment card shows the loan product and the lender, the financed amount and program benefits where they apply, the APR, the term and the monthly payment. “Final loan terms are set in your loan agreement.”
Changing the schedule
Your own deposit and stages can’t be set yet — proposals use the standard schedule. If your contract uses a different schedule, tell the customer, and see What Cali-Graf doesn’t do yet.
