Proposal
Build the customer PDF and understand what’s in it.
- Create the proposal PDF — and what it needs firstAfter you calculate, press Save PDF. In about half a minute Cali-Graf builds the customer proposal — roof design, savings, price and approval — and it downloads to your computer.
- Customer details on the proposalThe proposal cover shows the customer’s name, the home’s address, the date and the option. Type the name in Price & settings under Customer name; the address comes from the home you found.
- Your brand on the proposalThe proposal carries your business card — name, company, license, phone and email — on the cover, in the footer of every page and at the signature. Cali-Graf never puts its own or anyone else’s company on your proposal.
- Proposal numbers explainedWhat every number in the proposal means — the monthly bill today and with solar, net savings over 25 years, bill offset, payback, total you pay, cost per kWh and grid dependence — so you can explain them to the customer.
- Payment schedule and financing in the proposalFor cash, the price page shows a deposit at signing and the rest in three stages as the work gets done. For a loan, it shows the lender, the financed amount, the rate, the term and the monthly payment instead.
- Customer approval and the 3-day right to cancelThe price page ends with the customer’s approval of the chosen option and two signature lines, and every page has a box for initials. The last page is the notice the Contractors State License Board requires — 3 business days to cancel.
