Customer details on the proposal
The proposal cover shows the customer’s name, the home’s address, the date and the option. Type the name in Price & settings under Customer name; the address comes from the home you found.
A proposal with the homeowner’s name on it reads like it was made for them — because it was.
Add the customer’s name
Open Price & settings
In the calculator, find Customer name under Proposal — Printed on the PDF cover.
Type the name
As the customer wants it written, for example “Maria Lopez” or “The Lopez family”. It saves by itself.
Where it shows
| Detail | Where it comes from | On the proposal |
|---|---|---|
| Customer name | Customer name in Price & settings | The cover, and the customer’s signature line. Without it the cover says “Your home”. |
| Address | The home found in Roof | The cover, and the footer of every page. |
| Option | Option 1, 2 … from Make a copy | The cover and the approval sentence. |
| Date | The day you make the PDF | The cover. |
Good to know
- The name is shared by all options of the same customer — see Compare options for one customer.
- It also makes the calculation easy to find: search by customer name in Calculations.
- Changing the name doesn’t need a new calculation — just make the PDF again.
