How we verify data

Cali-Graf publishes only facts we can trace to a public source. Every section on every page names its source, and calculated values say how they were calculated.

Our rules

  1. Rankings come from permitsNo company pays to appear in a list or to change its place.
  2. No homeowner dataFrom building permits we show only the type of work, the date, the jurisdiction and the ZIP code — never names or street addresses.
  3. No data, no sectionWhen a source has nothing on a company or product, the section is not shown — we do not fill gaps with estimates.
  4. Matched by license numberPermits are tied to a contractor by the CSLB license number on the permit, not by name.

Corrections

License and permit facts change when the source changes. If you see a mistake — a permit matched to the wrong company, a wrong spec — write to calisolargroup@gmail.com with the page address. We check it against the source and fix it.
