Set defaults for new calculations

In Calculations, open Settings and set the price per watt, the rate growth per year and the payment you use most. Every new calculation starts with them; calculations you already have don’t change.

If you quote the same price per watt most days, set it once instead of typing it in every calculation.

Set your defaults

  1. Open Settings

In Calculations, pick Settings in the left column. The first card is New calculations start with.

  2. Fill in the values

    FieldWhat it sets
Price per watt, $The solar price in a new calculation, from $0.50 to $20 per watt.
Rate growth per year, %How fast utility rates rise in the 25-year forecast, from 0 to 15%. Without a default, new calculations use 3.4%.
PaymentHow the customer pays. Every account has Cash; loan programs show only for companies whose lender is set up in Cali-Graf.
  3. Press Save

You’ll see Saved — new calculations start with these.

What changes and what doesn’t

  • Only calculations you start after saving get the new values. Calculations you already have keep theirs.
  • In any calculation you can still change the values in Price & settings — the defaults are just a starting point.
  • Your name, company and license for the proposal are a separate card: Business card in the left column.
