Result details: roof faces, taxes and engine notes
Details, at the bottom of the result, lists the roof faces that went into the calculation, the city utility tax that isn’t in the bills, and the calculation engine’s notes on rates, weather and equipment.
Open Details under the charts when a number needs explaining.
| Part | What’s in it |
|---|---|
| Roof faces in the design | Every face with panels: how many panels, the tilt and which way it faces. Faces without panels aren’t listed. |
| Taxes (not included in the bills above) | The city utility users tax per year — today, with solar and with a battery. The bills in the result are shown without it. |
| Engine notes | What the calculation assumed: the rate plans before and after solar, the baseline region, the city tax rate, the weather and equipment models, adjustments from the bills. At the end: the computation time, production and usage. |
When to look here
- The production looks off — check the tilt and direction of each face against the design.
- A customer asks why their bill doesn’t match — the city tax is listed here.
- You want to know which rate plan the bill with solar uses — the engine notes say.
Shade loss per face is in All numbers, under Shade loss.
