Who can see your calculations
Only you. Your calculations and your customers’ details are visible only in your Cali-Graf account. Cali Energy, which runs Cali-Graf, never uses them to sell its own work and never contacts your customers.
Cali-Graf is run by Cali Energy, a solar installer — and it’s used by companies that compete with it. So the rule is simple: your work is yours.
Who sees what
| Who | What they see |
|---|---|
| You | All your calculations, roof designs, proposals and customer details. |
| Other Cali-Graf users | Nothing of yours. Every request is checked against the calculation’s owner. |
| Cali Energy’s sales team | Nothing. Your data is never used to market Cali Energy’s solar or roofing services, and your customers are never contacted. |
| The people who run Cali-Graf | Your data only when you ask for help, to investigate a security or technical problem, or when the law requires it. |
| The property address and location — to find the roof and load the imagery and shade data. |
Your customers’ information
You decide what to enter about a homeowner. Cali-Graf processes it on your behalf, to run the tool for you — under California privacy law it acts as your service provider. If a homeowner contacts Cali Energy about their information, they’re referred to you.
Working as a team
There are no shared team accounts yet. Each person signs in with their own Google account and sees only their own calculations.
The full rules are in the Privacy Policy. What’s stored and for how long: What data Cali-Graf stores.
